Wallace addition gives Celtics Big 4 (AP)

Posted on 27 February 2010

FILE -- This is a June 17, 2008, file photo showing Boston Celtics' Kevin Garnett(notes), left, Ray Allen(notes), center, and Paul Pierce(notes) celebrating in the locker room after winning the NBA basketball championship, with a 131-92 win over the Los Angeles Lakers, in Boston. The Big Three who led the Celtics to the NBA title in 2008 added a Big One when Rasheed Wallace(notes) signed as a sixth man. With the return of Kevin Garnett from knee surgery that weakened the Celtics in the playoffs, they're poised for a serious run at another championship.

The Big Three lost their biggest piece when Kevin Garnett's knee problems ended his season in March. Now he's back, Rasheed Wallace is here and the Boston Celtics may have a Big Four — and a whole lot more that could add up to a second NBA championship in three seasons. "The chemistry, I saw it from day one," Paul Pierce said.
