So why isn’t he on this list? Because the Giants get no respect

So why isn’t he on this list? Because the Giants get no respect. He’s having a career year, and shows no sign of slowing down. This is CLEAR All-Star material, but is trailing his brother Yadier and the Diamondbacks’ Chris Snyder in the voting. Aaron Rowand    I’ll shoot low for Rowand’s comparisons…In the number 5, 6, and 7 spots in the voting are Carlos Beltran, Patt Burrell, and Carlos Lee. Out of these four, Rowand has the lead in average (.328) and hits (67). He is hitting a major league best .404 on the road, and .456 against left handers.

I’d definitely put him in over Carlos Lee, who is hitting a distant .254.    He also his better than all except maybe Beltran at defense, since Ken Griffey, Jr is not the same fielder he used to be. Rowand is the definition of a gamer, and is showing why the Giants signed him to his huge off-season deal. In the same vein, Randy Winn is also drawing some All-Star consideration, hitting .299 with 67 hits and 19 doubles to go along with 10 steals. Tim Lincecum        What else do I have to say? He DOMINATES when he pitches Twelve starts, twelve quality starts. The Giants are 10-3 in his starts, he’s 8-1 with a 2.15 ERA, 83 strikeouts, and aminuscule 1.22 WHIP. He has a tremendous 2.5:1 strikeout to walk ratio, and is holding hitters to a .229 average against him.

He is the future of this franchise, whether he likes it or not. Brian Wilson    The former 24th round selection has come to stick in the big leagues as the best closer in San Francisco since Robb Nen. He’s 16 for 18 in save opportunities, and has a 2.3:1 K/BB ratio. His inflated ERA might scare you, but I think he just likes to make the games interesting.  These guys deserve it more than a lot of people in the league, and the only comfort I take from it is knowing that the coaches choose the pitching staff. I would bet my paycheck right now that Tim Lincecum is the Giants representative Sadly, he’ll be alone He shouldn’t be.

Go online to mlb and vote 25 times! Then, create a fake email address and vote 25 more! Repeat until there are Giants in the top 5.. With the third overall pick in the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft, the Kansas City Royals picked a winner with Eric Hosmer.Any sports experience matters, both physically and mentally. Eric Hosmer knows how to win in the game of baseball, or at least up to this point and time. Hosmer may not be at the same level that Michael Jordan was at his peak, but that is what makes Michael Jordan, Michael Jordan.Yes, the Royals have struggled for the past two decades. However, general manager Dayton Moore is on the right track, drafting players withexperience in winning and talent. Hosmer lifted his Florida High School baseball team at American Heritage to an impressive state title. Having the taste of success only drives a player to reach it more often, and as quickly as possible. One question that is proposed in the draft of Hosmer is where will he fit in a Royals uniform in the future? Hosmer, who lacks slightly in speed, could be pushed into the outfield with two young potential superstars already at first and third base.Between Hosmer and Billy Butler, who has been splitting time between Triple A ball and the majors, Hosmer is more likely of the two to be playing outfield.
