Celtics earn OT win in Garnett’s return (AP)

Posted on 01 April 2010

Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett(notes) yells as the Celtics take a three point lead in the final seconds of overtime against the Portland Trail Blazers during their NBA basketball game in Boston, Friday, Jan. 22, 2010. The Celtics beat the Trail Blazers 98-95. Garnett returned to the Celtics after being sidelined with a knee injury for almost a month.

Kevin Garnett missed 10 games with a knee injury. Ray Allen missed just about everything else. The forgotten member of Boston's new Big Three was shooting just 2 for 13 when he hit a 3-pointer with 42 seconds left in overtime to give the Celtics a 98-95 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night.
